B.J. Hall, of Ashland, passed away on Feb. 8, 2018, but he won't soon be forgotten.
B.J. was born July 19, 1942, to Ernest Joe Hall and Callie (Lee) Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, and four sisters.
He was a mechanic and Jack-of-all-trades, but he will be remembered more for his quick-witted humor and his generosity to others.
He married his wife, Evelyn, on Aug. 20, 1966, and he spent his life with an unmatched passion for hunting, trapping, fishing and music. He always had the stories to make you feel like you were there for all of it.
B.J. had two sons, Buddy and wife, Theresa, and Terry. He also had three grandkids, Brittany Redden and husband, Hunter, Makyla Hall and T.J. Hall - who he told everyone he was proud of often.
He also leaves behind sister, Lee Bevelhimer; brother, Vell Hall and wife, Georgia, and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
B.J. was a grandpa to all and a stranger to none, and that legacy will continue to live on in the memories he left behind.
Come join in celebrating his life at Friendship Nazarene Church at 2011 Friendship Road, McAlester, on Saturday, Feb. 17, at 12 p.m. Please send flowers to Bishop Funeral Home in McAlester.
