Our beloved Carri L. Manor, 36, of Route 11, passed away suddenly at her home on Feb. 12, 2018. Carri was born on March 31, 1981 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Norman E. and Robin L. Guerin of Altona.
Along with her parents, Carri leaves behind her dedicated husband, James Manor, the son of Richard and Leona Manor of Ellenburg Depot. Carri and James married on July 11, 2009. Carri also leaves behind her greatest treasures, her two children, Hayden McGarvey and Mersadies Shantie. She had an unconditional love for her children who she would have done anything for.
Carri graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School in 2000 along with CV-TEC where she acquired her cosmetology license. Carri went on to achieve a degree for medical office assistant in 2010. Most recently, Carri was a Home Health Aide where her compassion was displayed. She had a big heart and would do anything for her family and friends. Carri was a loyal friend to many and enjoyed making others laugh. Carri was known for putting everyone first and wasn't shy about expressing herself when she was passionate about something.
Carri leaves behind her older brother, Norman A. Guerin and his wife Christine of Constable; her little sister, Niki Rivers and her husband Chad of Beekmantown; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Guy and Cheryl Manor, Anne and Paul Nichols, Jeff and Ellen Manor, and Peter and Shannon Manor. She also leaves behind many special nieces and nephews, Dylan and Devan Guerin, Grace and Hayden Campeau, and Nina, Myla and Maverick Rivers, who she loved dearly and was proud to be their Aunt "Lou Lou". Carri also leaves behind a few special close friends, Helen Warren who Carri loved, a lifelong friend, Crystal Stephens, and her devoted pet companion, Sam, that never left her side.
Carri was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Arthur "Pepe" and Mina King; her paternal grandmother, Lucille Lashway; and most recently her great aunt, Judy Boulerice.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Rabideau Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
