Cleo's Story

Cleo Inez Stick passed this life on February 11, 2018 at the age of 87. She was born February 10, 1931, to William Payne and Fannie (Hunnicutt) Payne in Bunch, Ok.
Cleo attended school in Marble City, OK. She married the love of her life, Calvin Stick, on April 17, 1950. They shared 63 wonderful years together. Cleo worked as a cake decorator and baker for many years. She was a faithful member of The Episcopal Church. Cleo loved spending time with her family and her miniature dachshunds and in her spare time she enjoyed reading and watching TV, especially game shows and Westerns.
Cleo is preceded in death by her parents, William and Fannie Payne, her husband Calvin, daughter in law, Veronica Stick, brothers; Gene Payne, Johnny Johnson, James Payne, sisters; Mary Hensley, Sara Elizabeth Branham and Francis McDowell. She is survived by her sons; Larry Stick and wife Mary Ann of Tahlequah, OK, Gary Stick and wife Pam of Wagoner, OK, Michael Stick of Bixby, OK, brothers Don Payne and wife Cindy of Porum, OK, Kenneth Johnson and wife Mina of Tahlequah, OK, Mark Johnson of Lexington, OK, sisters; Nettie Jenkins of Hutchinson, KS, Earline Lee and husband Jay of Ft. Gibson, OK, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday February 15, 2018 at the Shipman Chapel in Wagoner, OK with Dr. Michael R. Stick officiating. Arrangements were under the care of Shipman Funeral Home in Wagoner, OK.
