David R. Curry, 61, of Ray City, died Saturday November 11, 2017 at his home.
He was born March 9, 1956 in Tifton, GA to the late Flagler Elwood Curry and the late Louise Baldree Curry.
He was the retired owner of Curry Construction and a member of the Ray City Church of God. He was a simple and kind man that dearly loved his family and friends. He enjoyed making everyone he met either laugh or smile.
David is survived by his wife: Laura Curry of Ray City; 3 sons: Nathan (Heather) Curry of Ellsinore, MO, Ryan (Bethany) Curry of Tifton and Timothy Curry of Austin, TX; 3 step sons: Paul (Betsy) Hamilton of Valdosta, Ross Hamilton of Ray City and Chance Hamilton of Ray City; 3 brothers: Charles (Cyndie) Curry of Mechanicsburg, PA, Gene (Sharon) Curry of Tifton and Robert (Linda Kay) Curry of Nashville; 2 sisters: Linda Sue Curry of Brookfield and Mary Catherine (Bob) Reams of Carrolton; 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 14, 2017 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Blair officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 PM.
