Dorothy Lea (Stevens) Thompson, 86, wife of the late Calvin Thompson, passed away Dec. 6, 2017, at a local healthcare facility. She was born October 30, 1931, in Lee, the daughter of Silas and Pauline (Pickering) Stevens.
Dot was a devoted wife, really loved her children, and enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, and has served on the board at MSAD #30. She enjoyed quilting and was involved with local quilting activities. She enjoyed playing bridge. Dot also was a member of the First Congregational Church of Lincoln.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Bob Dyer. She is survived by her children, Sandra and Danny Delano, Patsy Dyer, Mary and George Keegan and Gay and Steve Proctor; and grandchildren, Ryan and Kerry, Jaime and Jason, Brandon and Amy, Jodi and Tom, Jinger and Chris, Travis and Betheny, Zachary and Kathy, Eliza and Joe, and Ali and Jeremy; 20 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where services will follow at 2 p.m., with Jason Pangburn officiating.
