Elaine M. Klingler, 52, of Northumberland, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at her home.
Born Aug. 4, 1965, in Watsontown, she was the daughter of Carl E. and Betty (Lupold) Snyder, of Watsontown.
She was a 1983 graduate of Warrior Run High School where she played field hockey and basketball and was a member of the high school band.
She was a 1985 graduate of the former Williamsport Area Community College with a degree in radiology and then attended Penn State University.
Elaine was a farmer and operated the family farm in rural Watsontown for many years. She was also a disc jockey for local events.
She enjoyed playing softball in the Watsontown and Turbotville area in her adult life.
She was a former member of Lewisburg United Church of Christ and currently a member at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, rural Watsontown.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her companion for the past five years, Kevin J. Snyder, Northumberland; a daughter, Samantha M. Klingler, Watsontown; a brother, Michael Snyder, Mechanicsburg; and two nephews, Zachary and Benjamin Snyder.
Friends are invited to a visitation with her family from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 20, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6590 Musser Lane, Watsontown, where a memorial service will be held at noon with the Rev. Faron Johnson, her pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Delaware Run Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest contributions in her memory be made to the Memorial Fund at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
