LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Georgia Lee Shaver Warburg Trammell, 71, formerly of Moultrie, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Lincolnton, N.C., surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with David Warburg Jr. and Edward Komorowski officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Casketbearers will be Chris Tabor, Josh Tabor, Michael Tabor, Keith Warburg, Brian Amory, Chris Dupriest and Michael Duncan.
Mrs. Trammell was born January 25, 1946 in Texarkana, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Arvel and Dorothy Shaver. She was formerly the administrator of Brownwood Nursing Home before retiring to Huntersville, N.C., with her daughters. She loved to sew, crochet, play games and watching game shows. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and she was very fond of her dog Ruby.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Owen Trammell.
Survivors include her daughters Kathy Lynn Duggins and Todd of Lincolnton, N.C., Tammy Stapp and Robert of Huntersville, N.C.; sons David Warburg Jr. and Theresa, and Daniel Warburg and special friend Tonya Dean of Moultrie; grandchildren Chris Tabor and Ashley, Josh Tabor and Krystle of Lincolnton, N.C., Michael Tabor and Brittany of Newton, N.C., Keith Warburg and JamiLyn of Quitman, Ga., Christina Fabiszak and Chris, Jennifer Allison and Will of Huntersville, N.C., Allison Amory and Brian of Newnan, Ga., Laken Warburg and Chris, Megan Warburg and Michael and Reagen Warburg, all of Moultrie; brothers John Shaver and Pam of Jesup, Ga., and Donald Shaver and Maria of Atlanta.
Visitation will be held from 1-2PM Saturday, January 13, 2018.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb Funeral Chapel.
