Howard William Loveless, age 88, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at his residence.
Howard was born on January 10, 1930 in Hickory Nut, KY to the late Ottis and Nina Dye Loveless. He was a retired Tool Grinder with G.E. in Cincinnati, OH, where he had perfect attendance for 32 years. He was a member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church and United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Howard enjoyed mowing and spending time on the farm.
He is survived by his son, Timothy D. (and Pam) Loveless of Nancy, KY; five brothers, Marvin (and Geraldine) Loveless of Hartford City, IN, Curt (and Chris) Loveless of Nancy, KY, Gail (and Bessie) Loveless of Nancy, KY, Dorvin (and Carole) Loveless of Nancy, KY, and Louie Loveless of Science Hill, KY, two sisters, June Tarter of Nancy, KY and Carrie Marnhout of Stearns, KY; three grandchildren; one great granddaughter and four great grandsons; four great-great granddaughters and one great-great grandson; and a special caregiver, Michelle Daulton of Nancy, KY.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Stone Loveless, whom he married in 1955 in Muncie, IN, and she preceded him on January 11, 2003; one son, Tony Loveless; and seven brothers, Dane Loveless, Doyl Loveless, Marion Loveless, Arthur Loveless, James Loveless, Leon Loveless and Weldon Loveless.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
His funeral service will follow on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence Floyd officiating. Burial will be at Hopeful Church Cemetery.
