Fronia Irene Mullins, 94, of Lloyd, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at her residence.
She was born March 27, 1923, in Pike County, a daughter of the late Delmon and Raney Hensley Tackett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd George Mullins; a daughter, Mary Mullins; a son, Oscar Mullins; a granddaughter, Kendra Oster; seven sisters; and two brothers.
She was a 50 year member of Old Regular Baptist Church and her membership is currently at Little Mary.
She is survived by four sons, Floyd D. Mullins (Jeanie Foley) of Belleville, Mich., Boyd D. Mullins (Polly) of Ypsilanti, Mich., Troy L. Mullins (Darlene) of Belleville and Morgan Mullins of Belleville; four daughters, Doris J. Roberts (Thomas) of Robinson Creek, Anna L. Mullins (Morris) of Belleville, Shirley D. Mullins (Ken) of Hillsboro and Barbara F. Tussey (Dale) of Lloyd; a half-sister, Callie Sapp of Bean Station, Tenn.; a daughter-in-law, Janice Mullins of Balm, Fla; a sister-in-law, Vennie Tackett of Bean Station; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at Long Fork Old Regular Baptist Church in Virgie by ministers of Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will be in Amil Little Memorial Cemetery in Virgie.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup and 5 p.m. Saturday at Long Fork Old Regular Baptist Church with church services starting at 7 p.m.
Hall - Jones Funeral Home in Virgie and Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup are in charge of arrangements.
