Janet (Ruth)'s Story
Janet (Ruth) Adams Allison Everson, 83, of Spring Green, Wisconsin died peacefully at home on November 20, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Ruth was born in Meadville on July 3, 1934 to Margaret Mae (Perry) and Louis Marion Adams of Saegertown. She graduated from Saegertown High School and the Crawford County Vo-Tech Nursing Program. She was employed by Meadville City Hospital, Meadville, PA, and retired from Ingleside Manor, Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. She was a dedicated nurse who loved and cared for the residents there for over 30 years. She was married to Robert Ellsworth Allison and they had four children who all survive: Debra Allison of Mt. Horeb, WI, Bonnie Allison of Richland Center WI, Bob (MaryJo) Allison of Arena WI, and Joni White of Richland Center, WI. She subsequently married Lowell Everson. Ruth also leaves behind five grandchildren, Adam Allison, Jerad, Jason, and Jade White and Paige LeBansky, 12 great grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia DeRemer of Lynchburg, VA; Katherine Kerecman of Dothan, AL and Jean Stearns of Saegertown, a brother, Frank Adams of Bakersfield, CA. She was proceeded in death by her husband Lowell, her parents and a sister, Florence. A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Vermont Lutheran Church in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin where she was laid to rest in the church cemetery.
