Joan B. (Ouellette) Currier passed away on November 13, 2017, peacefully and surrounded by her family at Saint Joseph Hospital after a long illness. Joan was born on December 17, 1951, in Old Town to Roland and Leona (Cote) Ouellette.
Joan worked for many years at Union Street Laundry and Dry Cleaning and at Westgate Manor. All those who really knew Joan will remember her as a good person with a very caring heart.
Joan is survived by her son, Sean and wife, Stephanie Currier; grandchildren, Colby Currier, Rachel Harris and Spencer Harris; sisters, Faye and Richard Ramsey, Janet and Phil Dawson, Tracie LeVasseur and fiancé, Ray Bement, Karen and Chris Hoxie; brother, Roland Ouellette and fiancée, Jenn Becker; her special aunt, Delores Ouellette, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joan was predeceased by her parents.
To the staff members at SJH who helped and loved Joan, a very heartfelt thank-you from her family.
