Kody Jay Webb, 30, a lifelong resident of Hughesville, passed away unexpectedly from an unknown heart condition on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at Lock Haven Hospital.
He was born Oct. 8, 1987, in Lycoming County, a son of Kathy A. and David T. Nevel of Hughesville and Percy Jay Webb and companion Georgine Fritz of Lewisburg.
Kody was a 2006 graduate of Hughesville High School where he excelled in playing football and basketball. He was a 2010 graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a degree in sociology and psychology.
He was deeply loved by his work family at Delta Galil where he has worked for the past five years.
Kody was an avid Penn State and Philadelphia sports fan and was an active athlete throughout his life. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and so many friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother and nephew, Curtis M. Webb and his son, Easton Webb of Loyalsock; one sister, nephew and niece, Kristina C. Santiago of Harrisburg and her children, Gene Goss of Milton and Elena Valencia of Harrisburg; grandparents, Charles and Lucinda Shreck of Montgomery, and Harold and Stella Webb of Watsontown; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Madeline Webb; paternal stepgrandmother, Wilma Nevel; paternal stepgrandfather, Charles Nevel; maternal grandfather, Robert Bitler Sr.; maternal aunt, Karen Clayton; and paternal uncle, Perry Webb.
Friends and family are invited to call from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, followed by the funeral at 2.
Burial will follow in Watsontown Cemetery.
