Paul Shaub Good, 87, of Port Trevorton, died on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at his home.
He was born Feb. 18, 1930, in East Earl Township, Lancaster County, a son of the late Milton S. and Barbara (Shaub) Good. He was the husband of the late Anna Mary (Stauffer) Good, who preceded him in death on May 17, 2000. They were married on November 18, 1950 and lived in matrimony for 50 years.
Paul was a farmer most of his life. In recent years he helped at Stanley Martin's Cabinet Shop.
Paul was a member of Stauffer's Mennonite Church-Pallas District.
He is survived by seven children, three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward S. and Esther (Weaver) Good, Kenneth S. and Pauline (Stauffer) Good, and Timothy S. and Rosane (Brubaker) Good; four daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara (Good) and Harvey Stauffer, Betty (Good) and Elam Martin, Pauline (Good) and Merle Stauffer, and Miriam (Good) and Stanley Martin, a daughter-in-law, Judith (Martin) Good; 67 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and 75 great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Earl S. Good and Ray S. Good of Cerulean, Ky., and Roy S. and Nancy (Berkheimer) Good of Port Trevorton; three sisters, Catherine (Good) Stauffer and Ada (Good) Sweigart of Selinsgrove, and Esther Good of Cerulean, Ky.
In addition to his wife, Paul was preceded in death by one son, Richard S. Good; a infant daughter; one grandson; one great- granddaughter; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Phares S. and Marcella Good, Harvey S. and Ruth Good, and two brothers who died in infancy; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vera (Good) and Raymond Haldeman and Edna (Good) and Elmer Haldeman and two brothers-in-law, Titus Stauffer and Clayton Sweigart.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the family home, 2402 Black Woods Road, Port Trevorton. Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m. Monday at the family home with further services at 9 a.m. at Stauffer's Older Order Mennonite Church-Riverview District, Old Trail Road and Oriental Road, Liverpool.
Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
The George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills have been entrusted with the arrangements.
