Rebecca "Beck" Edmunds, 58, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Jan. 5, 2018, after a four-year battle with cancer.
She was a daughter of the late Jane and Stan Edmunds.
Beck graduated from Wyoming Area High School in 1977 then earned a B.S. in marketing/finance at Susquehanna University. While at Susquehanna she was named best female athlete in softball and basketball.
Beck spent most of her professional career as a manager at Verizon in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
Beck loved music and sang at many weddings and in numerous choirs throughout her life. Beck loved her home in Selinsgrove where all were always welcomed and hosting her annual cousins and girlfriends reunion!
Beck is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Deana and Bob Palmer; nephew, Kristopher and his wife Jamie; her niece, Alexandria Palmer and her fiancé Ryan Sullivan; her great-nieces, Zoey and McKenna Palmer; and her dogs, Jackie and Buster.
Throughout her battle with cancer she had a wonderful support team of friends and family who gave their time willingly to help her in any way they could. There are too many names to mention but our family thanks all of you. We would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Nash, Crystal Kazanski, the Oncology team, Dr. Patel, and the Palliative Care team at Geisinger for the wonderful loving care that they provided her; Beck respected you all so much.
Friends and family will be received form 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, followed by a celebration of her life at 11, at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, with the Rev. Robert P. Doll officiating.
