Robert Ray Fulp, 73, of Bluefield, WV, died Tuesday December 5, 2017 at his home.
Born August 4, 1944 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late John W. Fulp and Gertrude Gillespie Fulp.
Mr. Fulp was of the Baptist faith and retired as a Yard Brakeman from Northfolk & Southern Railroad. He enjoyed woodworking, metal detecting, and was a skilled brick mason.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol Fulp of the home; sons, Jack Fulp of Bluefield, Ron Fulp of Princeton, WV, and Don Fulp of Bluefield; brother, James Fulp and wife Rebecca of Bluefield; sister-in-law, Charlene Williams of Bluefield; six grandchildren, Matthew Fulp, Haley Fulp, Brandon Fulp, Austin Fulp, Stephanie Fulp, and Tyler Fulp; one great-grandchild, Laci Evans; nephews, Mike Williams and Scott Fulp; and niece Sherri Fulp.
The family will receive friends at Mercer Funeral Home on Friday December 8, 2017 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Garry D. Moore officiating.
