LAWRENCE, MA - Sandra "Sandy" Baxley, 81, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018, at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence.
Sandy was born on May 9, 1936, in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Maria J. (Schoojans) Andrews. Sandy was educated in the Lawrence schools, and was a graduate of St. Petersburg High School, in Florida, and then returned back to Lawrence. She worked for 30 years as a Supervisor for the I.R.S., in Andover, Mass.
Sandy enjoyed camping at the Friendly Beaver Camp Ground in New Boston, New Hampshire; she was an avid 45s player, loved bowling with Marie, and enjoyed going on cruises. According to her family she loved to sing karaoke, and was pretty good at it. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.

her beloved life partner of 26 years, Marie A. Zboya, of Lawrence, Mass.; her children, Laurie, and Edward Amaral, of Lawrence, Mass., Keith Baxley of Lawrence, Mass., Lawrence Baxley, of Lawrence, Mass.; her grandchildren, Kevin Baxley, Kelly Baxley, Jeffrey Baxley, and Jennifer Farrell; as well as eight great-grandchildren. Sandy was predeceased by her loving granddaughter, Chrystal Amaral.

Sandy's funeral service and life celebration will take place following the calling hours at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date.
