Sherree's Story

Sherree Lynn Fell, 61, of Cory, passed away unexpectedly at Union Hospital at 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017. She was born on Oct. 20, 1956, to Bill and Bette Fell of Cory.
She is survived by her loyal and faithful twin sister, Suzanne Fell of Cory. Other survivors include her Uncle Bill and Ruth McCullough of Cory; her Aunt Jessie Bond of Huntsville, Ala.; several cousins, Greg Bond of Montana, Lana and Lloyd Hendrix of Cory, Karla and Timothy Smith of Terre Haute, Jennifer and Gordon Cash of Huntsville, Jim and Debbie Zimmerman of Brazil, Mike and Sheila Zimmerman of Brazil, Patty and Dwight Dold of Texas, Carol and Ronnie Pell of Texas, Mary Beth Zimmerman of Greencastle, Brenda Hollaway of Brazil, and several other cousins and extended family.
Sherree graduated from Clay City High School in 1975 and received her teaching degree at lndiana State University. She taught English, Journalism, and Yearbook at CCHS for 39 years. She was one of the school's best supporters in academics, sports, and school spirit. Miss Fell was extremely passionate about her teaching, her students, and her school, as well as her family and friends. Miss Fell touched so many lives at CCHS, and she was always interested in her present and former students' lives. Sherree attended and was a devoted member of the Staunton Christian Church. Sherree always wanted to make people happy! Her bubbly personality and energy were contagious. She enjoyed spending time at school, at home, and time with family and friends. She dearly loved Christmas, her pets, and SNOW!!! She was always the life of the party!!! May you continue to party every day in heaven with your heavenly family and friends.
Sherree was preceded in death by her devoted parents; and loving grandparents, Emery and Edna McCullough, and Renos and Ruth Fell.
The visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at Clay City Schoppenhorst Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m., with Pastor Mark Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Oakhill Cemetery. ln lieu of flowers, please make donations to Clay City High School Fell Memorial Scholarship Fund.
