Timothy L. Brenkus, age 61, Euclid, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at his residence.
He was born July 31, 1956 in Ashtabula, the son of Charles W. & Mary K. (Brown) Brenkus and resided in this area most of his life before moving to Euclid a year ago. Tim was a 1974 graduate of Jefferson Area High School and the Ashtabula Co. Vo-Ed School. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Tim enjoyed the outdoors, pets, fishing, NASCAR, the Cleveland Indians and music.
He is survived by his parents, Charles Bill & Mary Brenkus of Jefferson, his soulmate, Kelly Simpson of Jefferson, a brother, Kurt R. (Kim) Brenkus of Jefferson, two sisters, Alisa K. (Jason) Stalnaker of Jefferson & Jenna A. Brenkus of Ashtabula and eight nieces and nephews, Tyler, Max & Sam Brenkus, Amber Stvartak, Brittany & Colleen Hurst and Tanner & Chloe Lee.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Brenkus, a nephew, Dustin Brenkus and his grandparents, Barbara & Simon Brenkus and Dorthea & William Brown.
Visitation for Tim will be held Saturday from 11:00 AM 1:00 PM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & BIllman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson. Dewey Howlett Post #103 of the American Legion will offer military honors at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Opal House, 26 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson, OH 44047.
