Wendy Raye (Sparks) Worlow, age 54, softly and peacefully departed this life in the arms of loving family Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospice in Orlando, Florida. She entered the world on March 6, 1963 in Martin, Kentucky to Eugene (Rowan County, KY) and Catherine (Patton) Sparks (Floyd County, KY).
Wendy grew up in various places in Kentucky, Virginia and Maryland. She attended both middle and high School in Middletown Maryland, and Morehead State University in Kentucky. Afterwards, she travelled extensively with her family throughout Europe, sharing her amazing vocal talent, dazzling smile, and warm, loving soul with all she met and knew. She lived, loved and worked in Maryland, California, Kentucky, North Carolina and finally settled with her family in Florida, making many friends along her way.
Wendy is survived by her adoring husband of 15 years, Michael John Worlow I of Melbourne FL; son Jordan Marshall Finley of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughters Taylor Danielle Finley and Haley Marie Worlow of Melbourne, FL; step-daughter Johna Michelle Worlow of Venice, FL; sisters Darby Danielle Dickerson (Mark Dickerson, Alton, IL) of Fort Pierce, FL and Angela Robin Sparks of Melbourne, FL; grandson Gunner Wayne Finley of Mt. Sterling, KY; step-grandsons Jasper Worlow and Jensen Worlow of Venice, FL; pets Prince and Nilla.
Wendy was predeceased by her step-grandson Michael John Worlow Jr.
A private family service will be held at on Saturday, November 18th, followed by a Celebration of Wendy's Life at the home of her parents in West Melbourne, Florida. The family welcomes all who wish to do so to join them there from 1pm until 5pm. Please honor her memory by wearing bright colors and bringing your fondest memory to share.
