William's Story

BRAZIL - William "Bill" A. Bieker, 83, of Brazil, passed away unexpectedly, Feb. 11, 2018, at home with his family by his side. Bill was born on Feb. 20, 1934, in Chehalis, Wash., the son of Anthony and Anna (Klug) Bieker.
Bill graduated from Downey High School with the class of 1952. Bill married Janice L. Brown, on Sept. 11, 1955. Bill worked in the printing industry, at Mission Engraving, in Los Angeles for most of his life. He retired at the age of 67. He and his wife moved to Indiana in 2000 where their son Gary was living. Janice passed away in 2007. Two years later Bill married Frances "Francie" Wyndham. They enjoyed their time together traveling across the United States, dining together, attending church at Bethel First United Methodist Church, and listening to gospel music.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents: Anthony and Anna Bieker; his first wife, Janice Bieker; two brothers, Richard Bieker and Don Bieker.
Bill is survived by his wife, Francie Wyndham Bieker; a son, Gary Bieker of Cory; grandchildren, Karina Travioli and husband Chad of Terre Haute and Adam Bieker of Terre Haute; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Adam, Callie, Haley, and Rose; stepchildre, Randy Wyndham and wife Sally, Brian Wyndham and wife Connie, Larry Wyndham and wife Becki and Tate Wyndham and wife Jody, all of Brazil; seven step-grandkids; seven step-great-grandkids; and a sister, Doloris O'Lague Chehalis, state of Washington; as well as many extended family members and friends.
At his request cremation has been chosen. A memorial service will be held at Lawson - Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, Indiana 47834 on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home, on Friday, at 6 p.m., with Mary Jo Archer officiating. Burial will take place at Summit Lawn Cemetery at a later date. To share a memory visit:
