MOULTRIE, Ga. -- William Albert "Bill" Walker, 82, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Cobblestone.
Memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Andy Cashwell and Rev. Robert Bennett officiating.
Born July 1, 1935 in Wetumpka, Alabama, he was the son of the late W.M Walker and the late Gladys Brassell Walker. Mr. Walker had retired from Miller Brewing Company as a fork lift driver and served in the National Guard.
Mr. Walker was proceeded in death by his parents, first wife of thirty-five years Peggy Murray Walker, sisters Wiladean Carroll and Peggy Butler.
Survivors include his wife Kathy Simpson Walker of Moultrie, Ga.; children Michael Walker and Debra, Eddie Walker and Sally, Jessie Thrower, JoAnne Broach, Susan Woodall, Donna Norman, all of Opelika, Ala., and Connie Lowe of Sylacauga, Ala.; step-children Rhonda Smith and David of Woodstock, Ga., Angela Wolfe and Charles of Donalsonville, Ga.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother Dickie Walker and Alice of Opelika, Ala.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Saturday.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb Funeral Chapel.
