Winfield Addington Greene Jr., 86, of Bowling Green, entered into rest Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at his residence.
The Ashland native was the son of the late Winfield Addington Greene and Myrtle Greene.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bette Rayle; and a brother, Jack Greene.
Winfield attended Richpond Baptist Church. He was employed by LORD Corporation for many years and was known for his ability to repair clocks.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Greene of Bowling Green; a son, Winfield A. "Bubby" Greene III and wife Beth of Warner Robins, Ga.; a daughter, Debbie Greene Golden and husband Roger of Bowling Green; a sister, Wilma Andrews of Macon, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Hilda Greene of Mason, Ohio; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green. Burial will be in Bowling Green Gardens.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
